Crys Yem
Office Manager
Crys Yem joined the Torres Law Firm in January 2025 after moving to Rio Rancho from California in November of 2024. Her duties include but are not limited to: any in-office correspondence/tasks, welcoming guests for both The Torres Law Firm and Red Roan Enterprises, providing administrative support to onsite and remote colleagues, preparing Estate Planning binders, filing, handling mail, assembling probate packets and submitting documents to the court for recording.
Crys was born and raised in Boston, MA. Her and her partner, Bryan, are fur-parents to three dogs, two GSD x BC, Fenway and Echo, and Callie, a kelpie mix, as well as two Holland Lop rabbits, Luna and Marble. She is an avid FFXIV gamer while also enjoying gardening, reading, baking, cooking, medical dramas and being a homebody.
Rebeca Reyna
Paralegal
Joining the Torres Law Firm in May 2021 as a skilled Paralegal, Rebeca Reyna contributes her expertise in real estate, business formation, probate, and water rights. Prior to her role at the firm, she garnered valuable experience as an administrative assistant and supervisor in the Hydrology-Hydraulics areas, showcasing her versatility.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Rebeca excels in reading, writing, and translating, adding a valuable linguistic dimension to her work. Outside of her professional life, Rebeca cherishes moments with her growing family, relishing the time spent with her first newborn daughter. Alongside her family life, she finds joy in various hobbies, including cooking, working out, and exploring documentaries. Her adventurous spirit comes to life through traveling and capturing moments through painting and photography. Moreover, the rhythm of life moves her as she enjoys dancing in her leisure time.
Javier Castro
Paralegal
Joining the Torres Law Firm in January 2023, Javier Castro assumed the role of Client Services Manager, overseeing all client intakes and related matters. Hailing from Mexico, he brings a diverse perspective and fluency in both English and Spanish to better serve our clients.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Javier finds utmost joy in spending time with his family, especially with his first newborn daughter. Cherishing these precious moments, he embraces the loving bond that parenthood has brought into his life.
Prior to joining the firm, Javier worked as a Process Engineer at a leading Polypropylene Basell Chemical Company, honing his analytical skills and attention to detail. However, his true passion lies in sports, particularly football, which he follows ardently. When he's not cheering for his favorite team, Javier unwinds by indulging in movies and music. An avid traveler and an adventurous cook, he loves exploring new cuisines and destinations. Javier's dynamic skill set and zest for life make him an invaluable asset to our team and a joy for our clients to work with.
Oscar Garcia
Client Services Manager
Oscar Garcia is an enthusiastic Paralegal who joined the Torres Law Firm team in April 2023. Currently residing in the United States, Oscar is originally from Venezuela, where he cultivated his diverse interests and professional background. Embracing new opportunities and experiences, Oscar recently moved to the U.S. to pursue his career and personal growth.
With a strong drive for excellence in everything he does, Oscar brings a proactive approach to his role as a Paralegal. His sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills make him an invaluable asset to the legal team. His language expertise, being fluent in English, Spanish, and his passion for learning, enable him to understand and communicate complex legal matters effectively. Beyond his legal acumen, Oscar is also passionate about music, which led him to study audio engineering and music production. His love for music is evident in his exploration of various genres and attendance at live performances.
Currently unburdened by familial responsibilities, Oscar focuses on honing his skills and aspirations. Fernanda Ponce
Administrative Assistant
Fernanda Ponce is the Administrative Assistant at the Torres Law Firm, based in her hometown of Tegucigalpa, Honduras. Since joining the firm in August 2021, Fernanda has been diligently managing various administrative tasks, including billing, court case tracking, filing, and assisting with estate planning. Her competence in setting up PNCs (Potential New Clients) has been particularly lauded.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Fernanda finds solace in spending quality time with her family, friends, and adorable Golden Retriever named Julie. In her leisure moments, she delves into the world of Romance Novels and enjoys binge-watching series. Notably, Fernanda is an active volunteer in her local community, where she passionately imparts English language skills and other knowledge to children. Her compassionate nature extends to assisting her mother with a bakery, further exemplifying her nurturing personality. With her blend of professionalism, dedication, and kind-heartedness, Fernanda Ponce continues to be a valuable asset to the firm and a respected figure in her community.

Paola Gonzalez is the Executive Assistant at The Torres Law Firm. A native of Venezuela, Paola currently resides in Valencia, Carabobo, where she balances her professional expertise with a deep commitment to creative and organizational excellence.
Paola joined The Torres Law Firm as an Executive Assistant, bringing a versatile professional background that spans over four years. In her current role, she provides high-level administrative support, leveraging her experience in project coordination and digital management to ensure the firm’s operations run smoothly.
Prior to joining the firm, Paola developed a diverse portfolio as a freelance virtual assistant, web developer, and social media manager. Her professional foundation is also rooted in sound and music production, as well as product photography. Additionally, Paola is bilingual, offering full fluency in reading, writing, and translating in both English and Spanish, which serves as a vital asset in communicating with a diverse clientele.
Outside of her professional life, Paola is a passionate musician who enjoys singing. She has a keen interest in photography and videography. She is dedicated to personal growth and holistic well-being, often exploring new ways to integrate these values into her daily life and creative projects.
